Westfield White lost a CJBL game 8-2 to Florham Park earlier tonight. Westfield pitchers Hopper Murray, Chris Varano and Scott Tupper pitched well and kept Westfield in the game but the offense could not break through against the Florham Park pitchers. The score was tied 2-2 all the way until two outs in the bottom of the 5th but at that point a combination of timely Florham Park hitting and a couple of Westfield defensive miscues put Florham Park ahead for good.
Westfield opens play in the Basking Ridge tournament Thursday night at 7:45 PM against Basking Ridge.
